Ever since relocating to Middleburg, Virginia in April of 2005, the planning and development of what will become one of the premiere retreat centers in the Washington, DC metropolitan area have been moving forward. Located on 360 acres of rolling hills and woodland in Loudoun County, approximately an hour drive from Washington, DC, Meadowkirk is open to church, educational, non-profit and corporate groups for day or overnight retreats.
Currently The House is open for small overnight and day retreats. We can sleep a total of 21 overnight guests on site and we have the meeting capacity for approximately 30 adults in the main house. We also have the space for approximately 150 people to meet outdoors under our pavilion for a picnic. We also now offer The Cottages! Built in 2007, these 18-bed cabins are fully handicap accessible and are ideal for youth retreats, as well as adult groups. Meadowkirk has many plans for the development of our property, both in the short and long term future. A great way to become familiar with an overview of what we presently offer and our planned development can be found in this document.
